Purpose for the scholarship
To support Doddridge County graduates and residents who plan to pursue undergraduate or graduate degrees.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a graduating High School senior or previous graduate of Doddridge County High School and a resident of Doddridge County; must be planning to attend a four-year accredited college or university full-time to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree; must have a minimum 3.2 GPA.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection is based on academic achievement and financial need, with personal attributes given more preference. Students who demonstrate good leadership skills and strong work ethic and have demonstrated the ability to overcome obstacles will also be given preference.
