Purpose for the scholarship
To support Parkersburg High School graduating seniors pursuing postsecondary education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a graduating senior or previous graduate of Parkersburg HS who is a resident of Wood County; must be planning to attend a two or four-year institution, vocational-technical, trade school, or certificate program; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection is based on financial need and personal initiative as evidenced by service to school or community or participation in employment while a student. Preference is given for a first-generation college student.
