Purpose for the scholarship
To support Parkersburg South High School graduating seniors planning to pursue postsecondary education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a Parkersburg South High School graduating senior who is planning to attend or already enrolled in an accredited four-year institution, trade school, or certificate program; must have attended Mineral Wells Elementary School.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection is based on character, academic performance, work ethic, and community involvement. Special consideration will be given to applicants who have demonstrated the ability to overcome obstacles.
