Purpose for the scholarship
To support Wirt County High School graduating seniors planning to pursue postsecondary education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a Wirt County High School graduating senior planning to attend an accredited college/university, trade school, technical school, or certificate program; must be pursuing a degree in a music or arts field of study (music education, music technology, arts, and/or visual arts), with preference given to those students who participated in the Wirt County High School Band.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection is based on community service, leadership, and character.
