Purpose for the scholarship
To support Calhoun County graduating students who intend to pursue postsecondary education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a graduating senior from Calhoun High School and a current resident of Calhoun County; must have a minimum 2.0 GPA; must have a strong work ethic and financial need; must be pursuing certification at a technical or vocational school or pursuing a two- or four-year degree at an accredited college or university.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference is given to students with financial need.
