Purpose for the scholarship
To encourage pursue higher education, especially in the field of nursing.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be resident of Wood, Ritchie, Wirt, Calhoun, Jackson, Gilmer, Mason, Roane, Pleasants, or Doddridge in WV or Washington County, OH; Must be planning to attend an accredited college/nursing school to become an RN; Financial need and a minimum of 2.0 GPA; Recipients must be willing to make a written pledge attesting to their intention to return to the area covered by the service region of the Foundation to practice for at least two years.

Selection will be based on academics, activities/leadership, service, financial need, special circumstances.
