Purpose for the scholarship
To encourage graduating athletic students to continue their education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be planning to attend a four-year program of study at a higher education institution in WV; must be a student-athlete; to be eligible for a scholarship from the PACF, a student generally has to reside in one of the counties in the Foundation’s service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection based on commitment to athletics, GPA, and test scores; selection consider the following: academics; activities/leadership; service; financial need; special circumstances.
