Purpose for the scholarship
To encourage the graduating seniors of Parkersburg South High School to pursue their college degrees.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be Parkersburg South High School graduating seniors who have been admitted to an accredited institution of higher learning as full-time students and have a minimum 2.5 GPA.; to be eligible for a scholarship from the PACF, a student generally has to reside in one of the counties in the Foundation’s service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection of applicants will be based on financial need and participation in school athletics. Special consideration will be given to applicants whose families have experienced extraordinary special needs that may impact the student’s ability to fund their college expenses.
