Purpose for the scholarship
To encourage graduating seniors from Parkersburg South High School to pursue degrees at Marshall University.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be graduating seniors from Parkersburg South High School planning to attend Marshall University; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; To be eligible for a scholarship from the PACF, a student generally has to reside in one of the counties in the Foundation’s service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection based on financial need and participation in school, church, and community activities; preference may be given to students who have participated in the sport of crew, basketball, or cheerleading.
