Purpose for the scholarship
To encourage graduating high school senior admitted to attend college or currently enrolled college student.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be Pursuing associate or bachelor-level degrees in any field specializing in services for individuals with disabilities; minimum 2.5 GPA; resident of Wood, Pleasants, Ritchie, Wirt, Gilmer, Calhoun, Jackson, Roane, and Tyler Counties, WV, or Washington County, OH.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference will be given to applicants who show willingness to volunteer/participate or have previously volunteered/participated in one of Wood County Society’s programs within, or the following year after, the scholarship is received.
