Purpose for the scholarship To assist college juniors and seniors, with select majors, pursue their postsecondary education.
Requirements to qualify? Applicants must be college sophomores (students entering their junior year in the fall) or college juniors (students entering their senior year in the fall) who are citizens of Canada, Mexico or the United States and full-time students majoring in chemical, computer, electrical, industrial, materials, mechanical, or metallurgical engineering at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year; and must have maintaining a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 or above, on a 4.0 scale.
Selection criteria among applicants Selected on the basis of academic performance and future potential, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, statement of career and educational aspirations and goals, unusual personal or family circumstances, Letter of Recommendation and special circumstances essay questions.
