To encourage young people to pursue a higher education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be graduating seniors, undergraduates, or graduate students currently enrolled in a college/university and/or alumni of any high school located and serving Giles County, Tennessee; must have GPA of at least 3.0.

Selection criteria among applicants
Recipients are selected based on academic records, test scores, extracurricular activities, work experience, community involvement, recommendations about leadership and character, merit, financial need.
