Purpose for the scholarship To assist Idaho students who are interested in pursuing math and science degrees at Idaho college and universities.
Requirements to qualify? Applicants must be resident of Idaho; majoring in math or science (including but not limited to the area of engineering); enrolling as a full-time student at the freshman level (first year) at a public or private four-year college or university in the state of Idaho; must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above; non-traditional students who have not been enrolled in a higher education institution for a period of three years shall be exempt from the cumulative grade point average requirement for the first semester (or quarter if the school is on a quarter basis) of the scholarship; primarily on the basis of a sincere desire for further education or training, and individual achievement as evidenced through the student’s academic record, participation in outside activities, leadership roles and/or work experience.
