Levels of education pursued qualifying for scholarship
Purpose for the scholarship One way some parents help their kids is by providing financial support for higher education. We know how hard and stressful this can be, so we decided to offer a scholarship to help relieve some of the financial burdens on students and their parents. As a family lawyer, Tammy Begun at Capital Family Law Group sees every day how parents work to make the best decisions they can for their children, even if that means putting their own interests aside. One way many parents try and support their kids is by helping to pay for school. This can be a large burden on parents that are not well off financially. To help relieve some of this burden, our firm started the Selfless parent Scholarship to give students a chance to share how their parents have made sacrifices to help the student succeed.
Requirements to qualify? 1.The scholarship is open to any current high school senior, college student, or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is enrolled in a two to a five-year post-secondary institution for the spring 2021 semester.
2.Employees of Capital Family & Divorce Law Group, their immediate families (children, parents, siblings, and spouses), and persons living in the same households of such individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to apply.
3.Candidates for the Selfless Parent Scholarship should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good overall academic standing.
