Purpose for the scholarship
To recognize four-year college and two-year colleges students.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be undergraduate; two-year or four-year educational institution in the AATCC Piedmont Section (VA, WV, NC, SC); must be pursuing a career in a technical- or design-related field associated with textiles; must be minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.85/4.00; must be US citizen, or legal resident of the US.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection is based on the following: honors and awards, including academic achievement; extracurricular activities; community, church, or service activities; work/employment experience; SAT or ACT scores (freshmen); personal statement including career goals, commitment to the textile industry, and financial need; transcript.
