To support songwriters and composers who are current students.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be a United States or Puerto Rico; between the ages of 17 and 24 as of the submission deadline; must have never had any musical work commercially recorded or distributed; is not a prior peer music Latin scholarship winner (excluding Honorable Mentions).

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection is based on the original song or instrumental work in a Latin genre.
