Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior planning to attend an undergraduate or vocational/trade school program at an accredited institution in the United States; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; must have a record of community service; must be a U.S. resident.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference given to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
