Purpose for the scholarship
To support students who are pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and full- or part-time students enrolled in a STEM-related discipline at a participating community college (Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Columbus State Community College, Cuyahoga Community College, Lakeland Community College, Lorain County Community College, Sinclair Community College); should be working toward an Associate Degree, or have the intention to continue for a 4-year degree, preferably at one of the OSGC Affiliate institutions, or enter the world of work in a STEM-related position.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection is competitive and will be based upon the applicants’ academic record, written letters of recommendation and the applicants’ personal statement and project proposal.
