Applicant must be an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in medical fields or health and wellness; must demonstrate financial need; must be U.S. residents enrolled at an accredited institution in the United States.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference given to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
