Purpose for the scholarship
To assist a student selected from a pool of applicants in purchasing textbooks and related materials.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be currently enrolled in the field of public health at an Arkansas school; must undergraduate or graduate students only; must be a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good standing; must be a student member of your local APHA chapter; previous scholarship recipients are not eligible.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection will be based on the GPA, goals in public health, honors, organizations, volunteering with health-related organizations, letter from major professor, personal reference letter, present or past public health experience, full-time student, part-time student, financial need.
