Purpose for the scholarship
To help scholars devote to full-time research and writing.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must: be U.S. citizens or permanent residents as of the application deadline; have PhD degrees conferred at least two years before the application deadline; and, have a lapse of at least two years since the last supported research leave.
