Purpose for the scholarship To support the education of a Jewish college or graduate student.
Requirements to qualify? Applicant must be Jewish and born and raised in Chicago metropolitan area, including Lake County, Indiana, or have one continuous year of full-time employment in the Chicago metro area prior to enrollment; must intend to remain in the Chicago metro area after completing school; must be entering or currently enrolled in an accredited program in a helping profession (business, communications, education, healthcare/public health, Jewish communal service, law, medicine, performing/fine arts, physical/natural sciences, social service, the rabbinate, technology/sciences, or urban affairs/public policy) on a full-time basis; and must demonstrate financial need and career promise.
