Purpose for the scholarship
To provide financial assistance to students in the state of Montana.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be U.S. citizens enrolled full time as high school seniors in the United States, and progressing normally toward graduation in spring/summer of the current year with the plan to enter a college in the United States no later than the fall following graduation; must also: be involved in co-curricular and community service activities; display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity; demonstrate critical financial need ($55, 000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required); and, exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution). Furthermore, they must pursue a bachelor’s degree at the University of Montana, The University of Montana-Western, The University of Montana-Missoula College of Technology, Helena College of Technology of The University of Montana, or Montana Tech of The University of The University of Montana.
