Purpose for the scholarship
To help students in pursue college degrees, especially in the fields of science and health care.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be graduating seniors or previous graduates who attended high school in any of the following counties: Marion, Hardin, Wyandot, Crawford, Morrow, Deleware, or Union; must have been a resident of one of these counties throughout high school years; must be attending Ohio State University or Marion Technical College; must have a 3.0 GPA (high school or college); must not be a relative of Mark E. Davis.

Selection criteria among applicants
Special consideration will be given to applicants in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th years of college and majoring in science or health care.
