Purpose for the scholarship To provide financial assistance to students of Southeast Michigan region for their education.
Requirements to qualify? Applicants must be residents of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Lenawee, Monroe, Livingston, Washtenaw, or St. Clair counties at the time of high school graduation; must demonstrate strong scholastic performance while in high school or college with an equivalent of a 3.0 grade point average; must be pursuing, or plan to pursue, a degree in the fields of law, nursing, medicine or dentistry.
Selection criteria among applicants Applicants will be evaluated based on demonstrate leadership and character through extracurricular activities, service in school and community, volunteer involvement and paid work experience; candidates between the ages of 17-27 at the time of application and to those pursuing full-time education; must demonstrate financial need.
