Levels of education pursued qualifying for scholarship
Purpose for the scholarship To assist graduating seniors from Jackson County high schools and other Jackson County residents who are attending college.
Requirements to qualify? Applicants must have plans to pursue a course of study leading to a degree in health services administration, nursing or human medicine; must plan to be or be a full time student who maintain a minimum of 12 credit hours with a minimum of 3.0 GPA; resident of Jackson County, Michigan; must be graduating high school senior, previous recipient, home-schooled student, student already enrolled in and taking undergraduate classes, returning learner; Prior recipients must carry at least a 2.0 GPA during their first year of college and a 2.5 thereafter; must demonstrate good citizenship, high moral character and potential leadership.
