Purpose for the scholarship
To support students in their pursuit of higher education and future career choices in the field of emergency services.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be residents of Kent, Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Ottawa, Montcalm, Muskegon or Newaygo County; must be pursuing an undergraduate degree or certificate at an accredited education program in Michigan in the field of emergency medical technician, paramedic, or firefighting training; must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or verified GED certificate; and have demonstrate a financial need.
