Purpose for the scholarship To support a Vermont student who has demonstrated a strong commitment to the environment.
Requirements to qualify? Applicant must be a current high school senior planning to seek a bachelor’s (four-year) degree at an accredited college or university approved for federal Title IV funding; must be enrolling full-time; must reside in Andover, Athens, Baltimore, Bellows Falls, Bridgewater, Cavendish, Chester, Grafton, Hartland, Londonderry, Ludlow, Plymouth, Pomfret, Reading, Rockingham, Springfield, Weathersfield, Westminister, Weston, West Windsor, Windsor, or Woodstock, Vermont; must demonstrate academic achievement and community involvement/service that is specifically related to preserving and/or conserving the environment.
Selection criteria among applicants Selection is based on academic achievement, essay, recommendation letter, and personal interview (if necessary).
