Purpose for the scholarship
To support Vermont students pursuing undergraduate degrees or certificates.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must reside in Essex or Orleans County, VT; must be seeking a certificate or undergraduate degree at an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding; must be enrolled at least three-quarter time; must demonstrate financial need and academic achievement; must intend to reside and work in Vermont upon graduation.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection is based on financial need, academic achievement, recommendation letter, and essay.
