Purpose for the scholarship To promote educational pursuits in the field of aviation or space-related fields through financial assistance.
Requirements to qualify? Applicants must be U.S. citizens; sophomore, junior, senior or graduate students; enrolled in a UAA member institution; must have 2.5 overall GPA and 3.0 in Aviation; and must demonstrate a love of aviation, leadership and extracurricular involvement/community involvement.
Selection criteria among applicants Selection is given to applicants who have an FAA certification as a pilot or mechanic; formerly or currently in military service via active duty, ROTC, the Air National Guard or Reserves while in school; and member of an aviation-related association or professional group such as the UAA.
