Purpose for the scholarship To support and encourage all Asian and Pacific Islander American students to pursue higher education by developing future leaders who will contribute back to their communities.
Requirements to qualify? Applicant must be Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census; must be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States (citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau area also eligible); must be enrolling as an undergraduate student in an accredited U.S. college or university; must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted) or have earned a GED.
Selection criteria among applicants Recipient will be selected based on academic record and future plans; community service and leadership; and financial need.
