Purpose for the scholarship
To enable talented, driven, and adventurous young Americans to have a life-changing international experience and succeed in the international hospitality field.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be at least 18 years old but not older than 35 having an offer of training/work contract from an employer in the hospitality industry for a position outside the US; be participants in an AIPT program; have an educational degree (Associate or Bachelor degree or ACF certification) from a hospitality/culinary school or program; have had at least 2 years of employment in the hospitality industry; and, be US citizens.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection shall be based on the merit, and not on the financial need.
