To engage students in advance research in one of Dumbarton Oaks subject specialties.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be scholars holding PhD or other relevant terminal degree and working on research projects in Byzantine studies, Pre-Columbian studies, or Garden and Landscapes studies.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection will be given to applicants who live 75 or more miles from Washington, D.C.
