Purpose for the scholarship
To provide recognition to exceptional young scientists who have performed original thesis work of outstanding scientific quality and achievement in the area of plasma physics.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be doctoral students at any colleges or universities in the United States or United States students abroad who have successfully passed the final thesis defense within the preceding 24 months of the current nomination deadline.
