Purpose for the scholarship
To provide support, education, access and service opportunities to individuals from identity groups who are under-represented in the association community.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be member of a racial or ethnic minority group, be GLBT, or have a disability; must be currently employed as a mid-to-senior level association employee with minimum of three years experience in association management or as an association CEO for a minimum of one year; must have professional, volunteer, civic or community leadership experience.

Selection criteria among applicants
Applicants must be ASAE members; recipients are selected on the basis of commitment to participate in a variety of ASAE activities and to pursue CAE certification.
