Purpose for the scholarship
To help students who are planning to participate in archaeological field work for the first time.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be juniors and senior undergraduate students who have not yet completed their first year of graduate school and currently enrolled at a college or university in United States or Canada; must be at least 18 years old and have not previously participated in an archaeological excavation.

Selection criteria among applicants
Applicants will be judged based on academic achievements and financial need.
