Purpose for the scholarship To increase the number of civilian scientists and engineers working at Department of Defense laboratories.
Requirements to qualify? Applicants must be U.S., Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or United Kingdom citizens; 18 years old and above; able to participate in summer internships at Department of Defense (DoD) facility; willing to accept post-graduate employment with the DoD; students in good standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; and, pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines; in addition, undergraduate applicants must be enrolled in a regionally accredited U.S. college/university and have their respective high school diplomas/GED’s while graduate applicants can be either currently enrolled in a regionally accredited U.S. college or university or awaiting notification of admission to such.
