To support the student with the best essay on a subject related to the life or works of Dante.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be American or Canadian students enrolled in any graduate program.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection will be based on the best student essay on a subject related to the life or works of Dante Alighieri. The committee may, at its discretion, split the award between two contestants (each to receive one half of the prize), or it may make no award.
