To support the education and development of post-secondary African American students.
Applicants must be full-time students working towards a graduate degree (master’s or doctoral) in urban planning or a related field (such as transportation engineering, landscape architecture, environmental planning, etc.); must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and either have a home domicile in the state of Maryland or attend a college or university located in Maryland; should have excellent interpersonal and analytical abilities, strong oral and written communication skills; should have a 3.0 or better grade point average and at least 1 full-time semester remaining.
Evaluation will be made by the Scholarship Selection Committee.
