To provide financial assistance for African American students pursuing degrees in social work.
Applicants must be African-American students enrolled in full-time study at an accredited United States social work program in the semester that the award will be granted, and have a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Applicants are evaluated based on academic achievement, community service, and financial need.
