There is no formal reciprocity between Louisiana and any other state, but the Board offers social work licensure by endorsement for social workers licensed in other jurisdictions. You may be eligible for this type of licensure If you obtained your current license under inflexible conditions and requirements such as that of Louisiana.
To obtain licensure by endorsement, you will submit an application with application fees of $53 for the RSW, $78 for the LMSW, and $103 for the LCSW. You will also have to complete a criminal background check, provide verification of your current license, and have your ASWB exam scores sent to the Board.
