On odd-numbered years on December 31, every social worker’s license in North Dakota expires. Renewals can be completed online or by mail. The renewal fee is $75, and applicants must finish 30 hours of continuing education (CE). Ten CE hours can be self-study or distance learning, and the other 20 must be in-person. Two hours have to be spent on social work ethics.
You now have all the information you need to get started on your career path. As you obtain a new level of licensure, you can administer more services to those in need. North Dakota is ready to welcome you to their team and help you make the difference you desire.
