To support students from Hawaii who are studying abroad for a semester.
Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii attending a non-profit college or university located in the United States or its territories; must be studying in a foreign country as a junior, senior or graduate student during the regular academic year (summer semester not included, students enrolled directly at a foreign institution are not eligible); must be a full-time student with a minimum 3.0 GPA; must demonstrate financial need.
Preference will be given to applicants pursuing studies in the social sciences that relate to international understanding and interracial fellowship.
