To encourage Wood County graduating students to pursue higher education.
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors with outstanding academic achievement and leadership qualities from any Wood County School, including home-schooled students, and who are Wood County residents; Must be planning to attend an accredited WV college or university full-time; Minimum 3.0 GPA, strong motivation to attend school; to be eligible for a scholarship from the PACF, a student generally has to reside in one of the counties in the Foundation’s service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio.
Selection will be based on activities/leadership, service, financial need, academics, special circumstances.
