Scholarship Mission

To encourage graduating seniors of Ritchie County High School to pursue their education.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must be a minimum 3.0 GPA who are enrolled as full-time students in accredited four-year colleges or universities; To be eligible for a scholarship from the PACF, a student generally has to reside in one of the counties in the Foundation’s service area: Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio.

How Winners are Selected

Preference will be given to students planning to major in the field of education administration, music, geology/ petroleum engineering or education. Selection of recipients will be based on ability to overcome obstacles, strong work ethic, interest in community service, leadership ability, and financial need.
