Scholarship Mission

To provide comprehensive academic and college advising, as well as financial support for school, Cooke-sponsored summer programs, internships, and other learning enrichment opportunities to high-performing 7th grade students.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must be 7th grade entering 8th grade; have mostly ‘A’ grades and no ‘Cs’ or below in the past two years; have a family with unmet financial need; and planning to attend high school in the U.S.; must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory and plan to attend college in the United States.

How Winners are Selected

Selection is based on academic ability and high achievement and intelligence, unmet financial need, will to succeed, leadership and public service, critical-thinking ability and appreciation for, or participation in, the arts and humanities, music, art, literature or similar fields.
