Scholarship Mission

To support licensed amateur radio operators pursuing postsecondary education.

Qualification Requirements

Applicant must be an active, licensed amateur radio operator of Active Technician Class or higher; must be a high school senior and performing at a high academic level; must be attending an accredited college, university, junior college, or trade school; must demonstrate activity and interest in radio service such as emergency communications, equipment constructions, or community radio services.

How Winners are Selected

The ARRL Foundation Scholarship Committee will review all applicants and make selections. Preference is given to applicants residing in San Diego or Imperial Counties, CA. PARC membership is encouraged.
