To provide financial assistance to students who are formally admitted to a political science or history degree-seeking program at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Applicants must demonstrate motivation, academic and leadership potential; must demonstrate a commitment to their community; must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; must be formally admitted to a political science or history degree-seeking program at the University of Alaska Anchorage; must plan to enroll full-time (12 credits) at the University of Alaska Anchorage; must be incoming or continuing students at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Preference will be given to applicants who are Alaska residents and have shown a potential for public service.
