To recognize exceptional scholarship in the field of race, racism and the law.
Applicant must be author of an article published in any scholarly journal, including socio-legal journals, journals in other disciplines, law reviews, or maybe a chapter in a book volume; published in the two calendar years prior to the award year; Only one single-authored work by the same author in a given year will be accepted; Two works by the same author will be accepted if one or both works are jointly authored.
Selection will be based on the committee’s criteria.
