Scholarship Mission

To encourage greater participation of African-American women in the field of law.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must be either enrolled at an accredited law school in New Jersey or New Jersey permanent residents enrolled at an accredited law school outside of New Jersey; female of African descent; student must be a 1L, 2L or part time 3L.

How Winners are Selected

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of demonstrated community service/civic involvement, personal financial need, academic achievement and a brief writing sample or essay.
